The challenge is on!

Rules for the 3rd edition of the Short and SweETFF competition as part of the Eastern Townships Film Festival 2013.

Age categories:  9 to 13 yrs and 14 to 17 yrs (as of August 18^th, 2013)

Filming devices:  cellphone and video camera.  

Entries can be documentary, fiction, animation or experimental style. 

Judging Criteria:

- does it convey a clear message or story?

- how well shot and edited is it?

- is it entertaining?

The final selection of films will be screened during the Eastern Townships Film Festival. Really cool cash and gift certificate prizes will be given in each age category. The winning entries will also have the opportunity to be used as a promotional short film on the festival.

All films must meet the following guidelines:

Required length:  1 minute to a maximum of 4 minutes

Deadline to submit final film:  July 31 August 11, 2013

IMPORTANT:  All films must be uploaded on www.youtube.com no later than midnight July 31 August 11, 2013 and send the URL of your clip richard@publiciterre.org.
